Who are we?
OUR MISSION
History:
The Islamic Society of Winchester began in a rented house on Cork Street with the help and encouragement of the ISWMD leadership. From the start of our small community we moved around to several rented spaces for many years. In 2007 we purchased the current location and began the process of getting approvals from the City of Winchester. In 2017 we acquired the house next door in hopes to expand our Masjid.
Mission:
To support the development of the Muslim American community, collaborate in positive interfaith and community relations, encourage civic participation and promote a deeper and uplifting understanding of Islam.
